Renowned musician Seydou Kone popularly known as Alpha Blondy has been praised by the humanity magazine international for his contribution for the fight against apartheid and promotion of peace in Africa.Speaking in an interview the chief executive officer for the Humanity Magazine ,Mr.Yahaya Alhassan said ‘’Alpha Blondy’s resistance songs towards the institutionalized racial segregation that existed in South Africa, is being celebrated as a powerful weapon in creating the awareness towards the oppression and authoritarian political culture, which ensured that the country was dominated politically, socially, and economically by the nation's minority white population, a special case study across institutions of higher learning for the power of music’’
Mr.Alhassan expressed his appreciation to the African’s legend for using his meaningful songs in promoting peace and stability across the continent which according him has positively impacted Africa .
